Ahhhh, fresh wilderness air...

Hazardous AQI levels were reached over the weekend in Fairbanks and its vicinity with visibility near zero in some areas. The National Weather Service has extended the dense smoke advisory and issued a fire weather watch in portions of the northern interior for Monday and in central and eastern interior Alaska for Tuesday. Northeasterly winds are expected to strengthen in the next couple of days. With the exception of a 7-10 day period, some areas of Interior Alaska have reached "hazardous" air quality levels since late June.

Breath here.
